In order to start our unit in science, we had a 'rummage' in our electricity resource box and explored what we knew and what we understood about how circuits work and how bulbs and motors can be powered.

The children created circuits using batteries, bulbs, motors and switches - a good recap of their learning over the last few years. 

They also had to complete a loop card activity where the answer to one questions leads onto a different card with another question on it. They did a great job! 

The children refreshed their knowledge and understanding in this area meaning we're ready to put in all into practise next lesson where we will be designing a light up Christmas decoration!
