Plant Growth Investigation
The aim of this investigation was to work scientifically by comparing the effect of 5 different factors on plant growth - light, soil, warmth, water and air.
The children planted grass seeds in different conditions.
They needed to make sure it was a fair test, the children understood that when one variable is reduced, it is vital that the other variables are kept the same!
