Stroud Book Festival 2021
Otter Class headed out to the Stroud Book Festival and had a great time!
The children spent time listening to authors and poets talking about how they write books, gain ideas and research their content. They talked about how to become a better writer and also about how their love of reading influences how they write. The authors gave the children tips on how to be inspired if they feel overwhelmed when writing and what to do if they have nothing to write about.
Piers Torday explaining how he writes his stories about animals and climate change.
Kate Pankhurst discussing how she illustrates her books about great women in science and history.
