Governors work with the headteacher to determine the strategic direction of the school, such as the identification of the school's vision and aims, the implementation of the National Curriculum, the monitoring of the budget, staffing and the accountability of the school to its stakeholders.
Governors
As a Voluntary Aided school, our Governing Body is currently made up of foundation governors, parent governors, LA governor and two staff governors, including the headteacher. Governors serve a four-year term.
The Governing Body of Brimscombe CE Primary School was reconstituted in April 2015.
The Governors work in two committees: Education/ Standards/Ethos and Facilities and Finance. Each committee monitors, supports and challenges the Head Teacher in its' area, creating reports which are shared at a full Governors meeting of all the Governors. Each committee meets six times a year and there are six full Governing body meetings a year.
Our Governors are all volunteers who give up their skills, experience and time for free in order to help and support our school. Our Full Governing Body,
