On 7th January, Bishop Rachel Treweek, Bishop of Gloucester and the first female bishop ever to be in charge of a diocese, was welcomed to Brimscombe CE Primary School.  She led the children and parents in a special assembly, during which she dedicated the new cross in the main hall, designed by local artist, Marcus Walters.  Afterwards she visited each of the classes, and answered the children's questions.
