In geograohy this term we have been learning about the weather. The children had so many questions about how weather is formed so we decided to make our own water cycle. We discovered the journey of water evaporation, condensation, and how the water falls as precipitation.   

We have been learning about the different characteristics that make animals Minibeasts. We had a look round the orchard for minibeats then we created our own using Plasticine clay. The children also wanted to create their own habitats.

We recreated the sink scene from Traction Man using cooked pasta, string, bubbles and baked beans in water.

Our new topic this term is capacity and mass. The children are loving the practical lessons!

To celebrate all their hard work this term we took a trip to Brimscombe park where we spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine!
