    Brimscombe Aquarium visit

    Kinfisher class visited the Bristol aquarium this half term as part of their Science unit, Living things and their habitats. The children took part in an interesting workshop where they studied the unique features of specific fish and also had a guided tour around the aquarium!

    Atlas fun run

    Atlas sports visited Brimscombe today to set up a fun-run course for the children to complete. The children were challenged to run for different amounts of time with special prizes given out for effort and participation! Well done everyone!

    Life bus visit

    We were visited by Tom, and Harold the giraffe, from the Life bus this week at Brimscombe! They visited each class in the school talking about a range of important topics including health, the importance of diversity and kindness! The children all had a brilliant time!

    Kingfisher trip to We the Curious in Bristol!

    Kingfisher class visited We the Curious museum today to take part in an 'electricity unearthed' workshop. They spent time building different circuits using a range of components as well as testing materials and classifying them as conductors and insulators!

    Renishaw STEM visit!

    We were visited by the engineering company Renishaw today who took the opportunity to speak to the children about careers in engineering! The children then took part in an engineering workshop, using key STEM skills, to make some pop up rockets!

    Berkeley castle trip

    Kingfisher class had a brilliant day visiting Berkeley castle today having been learning about the Tudors earlier in the year. They were taken on a guided tour of the castle and grounds to learn about its history, and then took part in a stained-glass window-making workshop.
