Robins~ Take One Picture
We have had another great week in Robins class. We started the week by visiting the Mosque and the Cathedral in Gloucester. We then got stuck into our artwork where we explored the spiritual, mathematical and digital artwork of Zarah Hussain. We looked for patterns and shapes in her work and then enjoyed creating our own patterns in the same style. We used oil pastels and worked as a team to colour an individual piece that contributed to our group artwork shown above. Year 1 also completed some digital patterns using the iPads. We then went hunting for triangles in our school environment and did some creative writing about triangles and all of the different places we can find them.
Teddy ' A triangle is a sparkling Christmas tree'.
Cassia ' A triangle is a juicy strawberry'.
We even received an email from Zarah herself with some challenge questions that we will continue to explore this term. Well done team Robins for another wonderful week, we are always so proud of you!
