June 7th saw the staging of the annual Brimscombe Primary School Sports Day, with friends and family gathering on the sports field to watch the children compete in different events, including dressing up races, the sack race and running races, all ably assisted by Year 6.  Competition was keen, and even a few summer showers couldn't dampen the occasion.
