Brimscombe Church of England VA Primary School is a small caring school situated in the Golden Valley, close to Stroud. The school benefits from modern, purpose built facilities and extensive grounds.  

We encourage individuality and excellence in our pupils. We offer a rich and exciting curriculum, a broad range of extra curriculum activities and wrap around care from 8:00am until 4:30pm, five days a week. We pride ourselves on being a happy school where all the children are valued. 

We have 5 core Christian values which are at the heart of everything we do.  Courage, responsibility, friendship, kindness and respect form the basis for all aspects of school life. 

We are a smaller than average primary school with 4 classes alongside a Governor-run pre-school. Our classes are named after local wildlife chosen by the children:

Pre-school: Ladybirds 

Reception & year 1 : Robins

Year 2 & 3 Dragonflies

Year 4 & 5 Kingfishers

Year 6 Otters
